Join Chef Jeff and Bon Voyage Boutique Travel on Another Culinary Adventure!

Journey along the Danube and experience the culinary traditions of several different European countries! This cruise will take you from Budapest to Vilshofen, Germany with stops in Bratislava, Vienna, Linz, and more. Exclusive culinary experiences include a goulash making class in Budapest, a Taste of Slovakia tour, a Sacher Torte tasting and Sekt (sparkling wine) factory tour, and more!

In addition to enjoying a 7-night river cruise, our group will end with an optional 2 night extension in Munich, Germany! Munich is famous for its traditional beer gardens, Bavarian food, and excellent hospitality. We will enjoy a city tour, Bavarian cooking class, and more while there. ​

We will be sailing with AmaWaterways on the beautiful AmaBella. This ship has 80 cabins total on the ship so travelers will enjoy an intimate experience on the Danube. This ship was refurbished in 2021 and includes a spa, The Chef's Table restaurant, a Cafe Bistro, lounge to enjoy cocktails, Main Restaurant for dinner, heated pool on the sun deck, and more!

  • June 15 (Sat)- depart the US
  • June 16 (Sun)- arrive in Budapest and check-in at Budapest hotel
  • June 17 (Mon)- board the AmaBella
  • June 18 (Tues)- Budapest (Group Exclusive Goulash Making Tour)
  • June 19 (Wed)- Bratislava (Private Taste of Slovakia Tour) 
    • Vienna
  • June 20 (Thurs)- Vienna (Group Exclusive Sacher Torte & Sekt Factory Tour)
  • June 21 (Fri)- Weissenkirchen 
  • June 22 (Sat)- Linz
  • June 23 (Sun)- Passau (Historic and Culinary-Tidbits of Passau Tour)
    • Vilshofen- Oktoberfest Celebration
  • ​June 24 (Mon)- leave the ship and transfer to airport or join optional Munich add-on

  • June 24 (Mon)- Transfer from ship to Prague, city tour, and check-in at Prague hotel

  • June 26 (Wed)- Transfer to Prague airport for flight home

Stateroom pricing includes:
  1. All gourmet meals onboard (Early Riser Coffee and Croissants, a Rich Breakfast, a Festive Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Coffee with cake & sandwiches; a Multi-Course Dinner)
  2. Captain's Welcome Champagne Reception and Gala Dinner and Captains Farewell Champagne Reception and Gala Dinner
  3. Choice of dining options at no additional cost including the main dining salon and an intimate Chef's Table Restaurant where the Chef prepares the meal in person. 
  4. Complimentary Wellness Program with qualified Fitness Instructor and use of the fitness equipment available free of charge.

  6. Complimentary use of the internet onboard
  7. Daily shore excursion program during the cruise with English-speaking guides

​Payment Schedule
$500 per person deposit due at time of booking
Final payment is due by December 12, 2023

The group will be hosted by Chef Jeff Igel and Geoff Hendren.  In the event that Chef Jeff or Geoff are unable to travel, the group will be hosted by another Bon Voyage Boutique Travel team member.
Please note, in the unlikely event that a host is unable to travel, your cancellation would not be covered by insurance. ​
