Step 1: Assess the Situation

  • If yes, call 911 or the local emergency number immediately.
  • If no, proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Contact Your Travel Agent
  • Call, leave a message, and email your Bon Voyage Boutique Travel agent as soon as possible.
  • Provide them with your name, travel itinerary, and a description of the emergency.

Step 3: Follow Your Agent's Instructions
  • Your agent will work with you to resolve the emergency and provide you with assistance.
  • Follow their instructions carefully and stay in communication with them throughout the process.

Step 4: Contact Your Insurance Company
  • If you have travel insurance, contact your insurance company as soon as possible. Emergency numbers can be found in your travel documents. 
  • They may be able to provide you with financial assistance and guidance.

Step 5: Document The Incident
  • It's essential to keep all original documentation related to your trip and any incidents that may occur. From supplier notifications, receipts, medical reports, and canceled flight confirmations, every piece of evidence strengthens your potential claim. By meticulously documenting unforeseen issues during your journey, you can ensure a smoother claims process and get the support you need when it matters most. Please note that credit card statements are not considered documentation.
