The Sicilian itinerary

DAY 1: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2026
  • Depart your hometown and take an overnight flight across the Atlantic.
DAY 2: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2026
  • Welcome to Palermo!
  • After landing at Palermo Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Transfer to Mercure Palermi Centro Hotel or similar and check in. Later, meet your Tour Director and travel companions for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 3: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2026
  • This morning, enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then embark on a guided sightseeing tour. This tour includes the Church of Immacolata and a visit to the cathedral. Enjoy a scenic drive to Monreale for a panoramic view of the Conca d'Oro and a visit to the Norman Cathedral.

DAY 4: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2026
  • Today, after checking out of your hotel, enjoy some free time in Erice before traveling to Mazara del Vallo. En route, stop in Marsala and visit a salt mill. Once you have arrived in Mazara del Vallo, enjoy a wine tasting. Arrive at Mahara Hotel or similar and Wellness and check in.

DAY 5: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2026
  • Today, after checking out of your hotel, set off on a guided sightseeing tour of Mazra del Vallo where you will see the cathedral and walk in the Old Town. Stop at the panoramic viewpoint in Sciacca for a jaw-dropping photo op! Once you arrive in Agrigento, check into Della Valle Hotel or similar and later, take a guided walking tour at the Valley of Temples.

DAY 6: WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2026
  • After checking out of your hotel, embark on a journey to Ragusa. Once arriving in Piazza Armerina, take a guided tour to visit the Villa Romana del Casale with the largest and most complex collection of Roman mosaics in the world. Check into Poggio Del Sole Resort or similar and later enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 7: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2026
  • Today, take a guided walking tour of Ragusa, which includes the city's oldest district, the Ibla, the 19th-centry gardens of Giardini Iblei, and St. George Cathedral. Visit the authentic Carrettieri (Sicilian carts) workshop.

DAY 8: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2026
  • Departing Ragusa, enjoy a walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele located in Noto to admire the San Nicolò Cathedral. Then, journey to Syracuse where you will check-in to the Mercure Siracusa Prometeo or similar. Later, embark in a guided visit to the Archaeological Park features the Greek Theatre and the Roman Amphitheatre.

DAY 9: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2026
  • After breakfast, check out of your hotel and set off on an orientation walk with free time to browse in Piazza del Duomo and Via Etnea. Take a scenic drive en route to Taormina River. Once arriving, check-in to the Hellenia Yachting Hotel or similar. Enjoy free time this afternoon and evening to explore the beautiful Taormina Riviera.

DAY 10: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2026
  • Enjoy an orientation walk in Savoca followed by a Granita(semi-frozen drink), and brioche tasting at Bar Vitelli. Embark on another walk along the Taormina Riviera with free time for lunch. Visit the Greek Theatre, followed by a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

  • All too soon, your vacation ends with breakfast this morning. The nearest airport is Catania.
